I was obsessed with two things as child. The Wizard of Oz and Care Bears.
Well, three things. Books, obviously.
One of my favorite books was Care Bears: The Witch Down the Street.(Yes, I remember. It had a yellow cover and being a proper researching author, I verified. Then once I found it, I bought it.)
I recall asking my mom why there wasn’t a book about Care Bears AND The Wizard of Oz. She told me she didn’t know why, and that if I wanted one, I should write one myself.
So, I did.
I’ve been a writer ever since.
After spending over a decade in the beauty industry, and then another decade as a stay at home mom, I knew what I really wanted to do was focus on writing and be an author.
So, I did. (After writing millions of words, and a stack of stories that will never see the light of day because it’s under lock and key. The key will get buried with me one day.)
I write books about love.
Falling in love.
Finding love.
Lost love.
Loving another.
Loving themselves.
When I’m not writing books, I’m watching Friends reruns, baking treats, sipping whiskey, and hunting for the perfect red lipstick. Sometimes I do all of that at the same time.
Oh. I collect Storm Troopers too (both real and imposters.)
